Missing Air Cleaner housings!!

I am looking ,still, for a older pickup , and Ebay is a good source for looking! dont know if I would buy from, Heres my question! I will see a nice truck, it has a clean or workable body, BUT NO AIR Cleaner HOUSING! how many years has this thing run with a bare carbureter! I have never thrown away these things! even the old beaters had them!

Maybe a want ad in the classifieds.
or
Search *Air CLEANER housing* as that's what they are called.

Yea you have to watch for things like that. I'd suggest you try autotrader. I found lots of good deals better then ebay.

Usually, the truck had a really nice chrome one and it was taken off and used on their newer truck.
