Painted door handles

I noticed that it is very easy to find painted door handles for a Chevy, but where can I find them for my FSD. The black factory handles stick out like a sore thumb and collect wax which eventually turns white and looks terrible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, this is an awesome web site and I thank everyone for their participation. Keep up the good work

Well it sorta depends on your trucks color. Ford sells them for the Excursions and XLT sport packages. You just need to take your color code to the dealer and see if they have the handles it that color. You could try 1stFordParts.com online to get an idea of the cost.

I agree with dealing with 1stFordParts. Good service and pretty quick.

I spent about 3 hours total trying to pry the information out of 2 different Ford parts departments (dealership). They were not much help.

I had a red F-250 (2001) Lariat at the time.

The King Ranch comes with Painted door handles, so I did not have to go through the hassle this time.

I've got a white.. (z1) and I just took it to my local paint shop and had the mirrors/wiper cowl/wipers/door handles, tailgate handle and rear bumper covers all painted, cost less than $200. Can't buy all 5 handles that cheap. and as long as the guy knows his stuff he can prep the surface and it will last a long time. to me the painted rear bumper really completes the look, Even the King ranch's rear bumper covers don't really match the lower accent beige, and looks pretty tacky (imo)

From a maint. point of view the paintyed will be more work,as the paint will always peel and chip and flake especially the bumpers.

I have a true blue 05 and plan on replacing it with the true blue door handles from ford. There were installed on the true blue HD's. You might want to ck with the parts counter on painted door handles, I think the retail price was around $59 for the front and $79 for the rears, each.

I put on the stainless covers on the 4 doors and tailgate for JCW and get comliments all the time. If I were doing again I would get the kits and only use it on the movable part and paint the rest. Good Luck
