Ok I'm stumped. I bought a pair of door handles today. The passenger side has a lock in the push button that opens the door. I can find no reference of this handle on an 61-66 F-Series. The handle fits my 66 door??? Does the F-door handle also on Ford cars? Big Ford trucks?
Your question is confusing, can you please explain it better? Your statement saying "The passenger side has a lock in the push button that opens the door." Does this mean that there is a key hole in the push button? If so these are the wrong door handles for your truck.
Yes the door lock is in the push button to open the door. It's in a handle that fits the 61-66 F-series. Are there other applications that use this door handle?

The door handles are for this truck. They fit the doors just fine. I have swapped out the lock push button with a push button without lock. I'm just curious to find out any info about this setup.
I know it's not for the 61-66 F Series. I was looking for some insight into what the lock does fit. Any ideas? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
QUOTE=NumberDummy;15830682]The push button with the slot for the key is incorrect for these trucks, because the individual lock cylinder is located below the door handle.[/QUOTE]

Look for a 1950's/60's car that has this setup.
