Mass Air Conversion Kit????

Hi John,

Thanks for the info. I just got my Helm Factory Shop Manuals in the mail and will check on that too. My only concern is that the Cali equipped 460 got 3 O2 sensors instead of the one. I hope this doesn't cause a problem. I'm sure there is a way around it. I'll email you

Mass Air Conversion Kit????

The 1996 PCM computers are OBD. Among other things, this means it runs diagnostic tests on the polution system and reports problems. This would likely include any problem with the third O2 sensor on the catalytic converter.

This could make the third O2 sensor a real pain.

Hey guys,

Adding a third o2 Sensor isnt a big deal (on my system anyway) If that is the only issue I am ready to start ordering oarts (big big grin).....

BlownF350 tell me is your truck really blown? If so what brand of suoercharger, anything you want to say about it so on and so forth? I am thinking about going the blown route myself, I have been looking into the Vorytech kit lately... any thoughts?

Have you come up with anything on the MAF conversions on your end? I havent had anytime to do much this last few days myself...

Hiya Mike,

I've got a couple people looking for Cali equipped 460 F/E 350 trucks I have checked on prices of wiring harness/computer parts. Can get everything under 1K from Ford. Just waiting on a photo and Calibration # of CPU. I don't want to guess on the computer. There were too many combo's. I'll wait till I find the combo I'm looking for :-). I've waited this long. A couple more months won't be too bad. Then we could start upgrading :->.

I've been doing a bunch of diggin online to find a kit to swap the speed density on my '88 460 to mass air for the rebuild I'm doing this winter, but have had little luck finding a "kit". The best I could come up with was the following link, but have not found a price:
