Mass Air Conversion Kit????
Yes to your question. Ford Motorsport does make a MAF conversion kit for the 302/351 F series truck. I am currently trying to locate a MAF conversion kit for my 96 460 E4OD. Summit Racing did have the conversion kits for your truck. I think the price was around 300 bucks, but don't quote me on it. Good luck.

1) wiring harness
2) MAF sensor
3) ECM
Please let me know if you find out more information on this.
Thanks,
John
THANKS DUDE!! Been looking for this item for 6 months now. I've heard that the C Class Motorhome also had this option but the search has been unsuccessful. Until now. I will let you know of what I find. Calling dealer tomorrow

As you all know I was (am) looking Xaviar let me know if you find any more information about the FoMoCo part... I spoke with the guys at Granatelli (miss-spelling oops!) Motor Sports and as you know they had a MAF conversion kit for our 460's that was discontinued (computer calibration complaints I am told).... At any rate after many many emails and much begging I got the guys at Granatelli to agree to sell me one of their discontinued kits (no warranty, no return!).... Now for the bad news they want $1200.00 bucks for the kit, I haven't decided if I want a part that costs $1200.00 and is not covered by a warranty... Please let me know if any of you all come up with a better idea! I also am still looking for a MAF kit for my 460... Thankx for reading my rambles I await an answer from someone..

and can you clean them ?
my turck is running a little rich
i live in so california the truck was bought to in las vages
what if you guys try a junk yard?
Did you get my email? I found a original MAF kit for our trucks. Ford installed a MAF system on 96 E and F 350's with a California DSO CODE. The wiring harness is $650 and the computer will cost ya about 300 to 500. I might be able to get these systems at a good discount. (Good friend of mine works in parts department a Ford). I would go that route before investing it the Granatelli Kit. I spoke with them months ago and YES, they are a problem kit. I'm in the process of developing a factory wiring kit with FoMoCo parts based off the 96 1 ton 460 setup. If not, I will be buying the complete system from Ford. Right now, I'm looking for a California Truck to look at harness wiring. Computer Calibration # info I need to.
Which is where YOU, JAM3 come in. Jam3 is your truck a 460 California equipped truck? If so I would like a photo of your engine compartment. Specifically, ram-air intake setup to throttle body? If you could do a complete shot that would be great? I also need to know how many O2 sensors your truck has. Some Cali trucks had has many as 3 with this system. Most if not all other 49 state trucks only had 1 O2 sensor with 460 engine. Let us know if you could provide a photo. It would be a great help.
Also, If ANYONE here owns a 95 or 96 460 equipped California truck, check to see if it is MAF equipped or not. If so, I would like to talk to you. I'm sure many 460 EFI owners would like this conversion.
Thanks for all your help.

I HAVE A 351W I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THEY HAVE THIS CONVERSION FOR A 97 AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST? ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED I HAVE TONS OF INFO ON OTHER STUFF EXCEPT THIS
I have the shop manuals for all Ford 1996 F series trucks (CD). It shows the three Heated Oxygen Sensors and the conections for the wiring harness. (The extra O2 sensor is on the cat) If there are questions the manual can answer about adding MAF to a MAP 460 just email me.
It looks like the California MAF 460 engine wiring harness is very similar to the 5.0L MAF engine harness. I need more time to see if a 5.0L harness is usable on a California 460 MAF ECM or not. Might save a LOT of money.
My email is notgnihtrow(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
