How come there is no 1998 power strokes ever listed.

Ford was in the process of preparing to introduce the SuperDuty, but manufacturing delays kept them from introducing them on schedule in '98. They continued making Powerstroke trucks, but kept the designation '97, and introduced the '99's early.
