the rear window in my bronco is stuck down. This creates alot of problems because we are about to have a two foot snow storm. Problem two is that the temp tag is on the window, What a cluster#$@! I hear these windows are infamous for freezing. I dont know if that is the problem though. Please help

Well, I would start by checking the switches does it not work with either, by key on back of tailgate or in dash switch?
If not by either, then you can take the access panel off and unplug the motor and check and see if there is voltage going to it from the swiches, if yes, then apply power directly too the motor and see if it runs.
I had a friend come over who has a big old GMC, he says they all have problems with freezing. We managed to force the gate opened. As it fell you could hear the ice crack. We forced it up and the window worked. We think it may have also been the saftey catch that does not allow the window to move when the gate is partialy opened. Either way we got it. Thaks alot for your help guys.
