I've been reading all the old threads on water pump replacement and a couple people said that the lower neck on the 95 water pump was one piece with the pump whereas the 96 had a seperate bolt-on lower neck. Then somebody pointed me to this site http://www.shopdiesel.com/index.cfm/...uct_id/472.htm
and they say this pump is good for all PSDs from '95 to '03 and it shows the bolt on lower neck??
Has anybody ever bought/used one of these?
My second concern is how cheap they are - $180 compared to autozone $347 - I'm not compaining but thats quite a jump in price, whats the difference?
Third, will I have to use the longer '96+ t-stat?
sorry for all the questions but I'd appreciate any help.
