I've got an ignorant question

Where the hell are the spark plugs at on my '02 5.4L? I just go tthe truck a month ago and changed the oil today. My uncle was looking at it and was wondering where the plugs, wires, and coil was at. Then I looked. No find. Where they hid?

They are located underneath the COPs and are in the head.

Hope that the above link helps out.

Ford removed the sparkplugs in an effort to increase MPG.
No spark=No wasted gas.

So that's how it's set up. I'm used to 5.0L's I can see them. Guess one advantage is no burned plug wires from the manifolds. Sounds like a pain to change though. I hope I won't have to worry about them for a while.
