EBPV Linkage reconnecting??????

EBPV Linkage reconnecting??????
Does somebody have a secret way to reconnect the EBPV linkage on a 1997 PSD. I follow advice from here and unhooked it to see if my EBPV was working and now seems like I may have to remove the turbo to get it reconnected. I have been trying for 5 hours..rather frustrated and do not want to take the turbo off just to connect it.
Boy what problems a batch of bad fuel can cause...
Will NEVER purchase fuel at a SITES "CONVENIENCE FOOD MART" again. After being treated like dirt and being hollered at by the manager when I told about my problem, means I will do all I can to hurt their business.
They lost a chance to get my $5-8,000 that I spend a year on fuel.
Somebody else will get it. Am trying to get Quiktrip to install a diesel pump.
