Well, my 302 is running fine after the swap from the 300. The throttle is hanging up at around 1500 RPM though. I don't know whats causing it. Any suggestions?
Do you have a throttle return spring? Look on top the throttle body where your accelerator cable hooks up. If there's no spring or the one that's there isn't strong enough, get one. My truck did that when i first bought it and I noticed it didn't have a spring at all. Quick run up to the parts store and I was running good in no time. I hope that's all it is in your case too, good luck..
