I've noticed, only recently, that when I am driving above 55mph and take my foot off the gas that my engine sounds and feels like its running rough, then when i push my clutch in it gets worse. It vibrates the whole cab and doesnt sound very healthy. Doesnt occur at lower speeds and when running at 55+ in gear it runs perfectly fine. I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to trucks, so any help you guys could give me would be greatly apprciated.
I also seem to be losing coolant somewhere, no visible leaks, have read other threads on it so including the info only to see if it somehow applys to the problem above
First thing to do is pull the codes. Go to fordfuelinjection.com and find the link on the right that says getting the codes.
For the coolant, it could be leaking, or it could be entering the combustion chamber via a crack or blown gasket. There's another thread (very recent) on this forum that talks about this. The guy ended up having a hairline crack in his radiator but it only showed up under pressure and wasn't puddling under the truck.
