Tranny Question
Can anyone tell me what 4 spd was in the 79 F250? I am looking for a Ford 4 spd tranny with the granny low is it the T18 or NP435 or what??I want one to swap into my Jeep and I'm not sure what to look for. Thanks

Are you asking which is better for your Jeep or which your F250 has? It could have either. I'm not sure, but I think the t18 was in 2wd and the 435 was in 4x4. Both are a good trannys with granny low. The T18 has reverse to the right and up (to dash). The 435 has reverse to the right and down (to seat).
