Guys, this damn truck is driving me to the brink of insanity. It has fueled rage that I never thought imagineable. Heres the info- 89 F 150 302 4x4 manual. Auto locking hubs try and lock in while driving down the road. think its caused by tcase, because i think the tcase is freespooling the front drive. . . thats the only cause i can think of that would cause this. What would cause the drive shaft to freespool? is it possible I need a fluid change? i can't think of anything else. Also, doubt its connected, but the drive gear for the speedometer is not working. I have a computer for an automatic, and it idles normally at 1800. . . somtimes lower, but recently, in the cold I'm guessing it has taken to reving up to 3000 without my help. Thats enough to **** off a preacher. I'll come to a stop, have it in neutral, and it will rev up, sometimes while switching gears it revs up in between shifts. This is really getting to me. . . Is there a way i can convince the computer to idle normal? Wire a resistor in the IAC valve? Something, anything, anybody have a computer for a manual? I'm getting a new truck in the summer, but I need to fix this problem now, so I don't drive full speed into a tree. Thanks guys. Bye bye
