anyway, what did you do to lift your rear? new springs? blocks/add-a-leaf? tell me and i can give you some suggestions on what to do to make her sit right (i hate a sagging rear too)
and for the shocks, all they do is dampen the ride so it dont keep bouncing after a bump, and they help with handling, i got mine ffrom skyjacker with my lift...go with the nitro's over the hydros, the extra 5 bucks a shock is definitely worth it, air shocks are a bad idea, they put too much stress on the shock mounts, and they will limit articulation
I bought it the way she`s lifted now. It has 6" blocks under the back. Had thought about adding a leaf ,but didn`t know if just the shocks might do it.

Hey Jeff, Jeeps are cool. Don`t care what anybody says, a Jeep is hard to beat in the mud!! I`ve got a buddy that`s a jeep freak. Made a believer out of me!! He even had a CJ with a 351 MODIFIED in it!! Posi. trac and all. Talk about a power house. It was dangerous!!

I basically used it to tow my 15 ft. boat around . I wanted to give myself the total restoration experience once in my life
It turned out to be a bit short and didnt handle towing all that well . I sold it for a decent buck and bought the F250HD which is like driving a Lincoln Towncar compared to the Jeep
Now that I have a good tow vehicle I`m keeping my eyes open for a project truck ( hopefully a 77 F250 4x4 ) to re-do . Want the end result to be like yours
Doggonit Jeff , that baby`s SWEET!! You`ve out done yourself!! I`m kinda like Chris on the paint job. I got alot of body work to do to mine. I thought about painting it whatever that orange is on the General Lee. Maybe put me some dixie flames on the side. I got some sketches made on some drawing paper. Maybe I`ll get it on the trck one day!! Man that`s a cool looking Jeep!! Later fellas.

Haven`t got a chance to tear it down yet, but I`ll get to it soon. Running good, then all of the sudden--- the most God-awful sound you ever heard.Can`t be too bad,it still cranks and runs good( except for the sound).FORD TOUGH!!! All projects are on hold as of now. Looking at buying a house and building me a metal 30'x40' shop and then it`ll be on like a chicken bone!! On the bright side. This gives me a good excuse to BUILD my new 351W!! I`ll still be checking y`all out and I`m going to check on some front end prices for y`all!! Take it easy fellas!!
