Help????

I had to take my truck to the stealership this morning. Over the weekend I developed a fluid leak that seems to be coming from the drivers side frame rail in the front wheel well. At first I thought it was brake fluid, then I thought it was power steering fluid... Turns out to be Transmission fluid??? I understand that there is a hydro-boost system that uses transmission fluid to help the power steering and power brakes??? where is this system, and would you think I have a leaky hose, or is there a possible bigger problem. My brake light did come on a couple of times this weekend........Any and all help is much appreciated

Joe

if the fluid was pink it was the trans. clear would be brake. Other than that I am lost on this one.

Correct. The power brakes and power steering all run off the power steering pump. If it was tranny fluid...maybe the tranny cooler connections at the radiator are leaking and blowing back that side??
