Holley 4160

Hi,
I'm wondering if the primary metering blocks on the 1850 and 4548 are swapable. The current Holley parts list shows N/S (no service) on the primary metering block, so I can't cross-reference. Anyone have any experience with the smaller 4548? I'm aiming to use all the "good" parts off the 4548 to rebuild the 1850.
Also, anyone have an idea where to find the part number for the secondary throttle shaft for the 4160?

Thanks!
FSH

Hey SuperFsh,

Just curious, why not use the original block off of the 1850? Blocks usually don't go bad.

I don't know the part number you are looking for but here is a link to where you can get one: http://www.holleypartsforsale.com/throttlebody.php

It's near the bottom of the page.

What part of the WA are you from. I'm in Gig Harbor.

Take care,
Lee

Hey Lee,

Thanks for the link. Looks like they will have all I'm looking for. The reason I want to swap the metering block is because the alignment pegs are broken off.

I'm in the Seattle area.

Thanks!
