Hello everyone!

I recently bought a 1994 E250 (HD?) Supervan. "What are you going to do with it" everyone asks me, and I said "drive it".

Well, my first week and probably $60.00 in fuel costs, I see it averages a little under 9 mpg in town. Hum. I may of made a false assumtion that is would get some kind of fuel mileage, 15 maybe, I dunno about this.

Replaced the plugs, well, 6 of them, still need to do 2 of them and I guess it can be done via the passenger fenderwell after removing the tire. Whan I pulled back the doghouse, I was amazed, no oil leaks, looks great - The van has almost 250,000 miles on it.

Anyway, it has the 351 or 5.8ltr engine, Dana rear with 3:73 gears, runs great, shifts great, had to clean it up and put tires on. Even has a water to oil engine oil cooler, back then, I used to order them ready for work. It had the guard cage to keep stuff from hitting you installed, and shelving. All of that is up for trade if anyone wants it. Went with Remington RV Brutes in 265 series, they almost rub - I like them. I better check the air in them -

The van was in our commercial fleet, and we keep them well maintained. Everything checked out OK, replaced all the normal stuff and now looking to improve mileage. Thinking about a chip (?).

Finally, the van is a blank canvas. A nice cool graphics job is in the think tank, and I am looking for a grill/push bumper.

I am used to old Mustangs, Falcons, FE engines, the sixties and seventies stuff. Drive a 2000 Windstar also and love it. Black, Sport edition, awesome minivan for the wife. A 1983 Porsche 944, a Honda 919 motorcycle and various other motorcycles/minibikes fill up the mechanized transportation.

I hope to use the van to haul the 919 to the drag strip next spring, as well as for general fun stuff, like camping. It is also set up to tow, so who knows, right now, I need to focus on fixing the fuel mileage.
