Greetings from Minnesota! I used to own a 1997 E150 conversion van. My now ex wife convinced me to get rid of it. I always regretted selling it. So, I purchased a one-owner 2001 E150 with 82k miles. It is in amazing condition for being 11 years old. The down side is that the previous owner died and the widow could only find one receipt for spark plugs and fuel filter. I put on new rotors, re-packed the wheel bearings, had the transmission serviced, the oil changed, and installed an E350 steering stabilizer. I plan to replace a new fluid along with each oil change until they're all done. This forum seems like a great place with lots of helpful people!
RIP my sweet van:
The damage is far worse than it appears in this photo. The estimate was nearly $10,000.
I never posted here much, but I did a lot of lurking and enjoyed this site. I decided not to replace it with a 3rd E150 and instead got a minivan. Safe travels everyone!
