Does anybody know if the 87 - 91 valve covers will fit a 95? I am trying to dress up the engine a little and would like the classic finned cover, like the edelbrock ones.
Clifford Performance makes a finned aluminum valve cover for the Ford 300 inline 6. It's model number 43-4176.
Some of the other folks on the Fordsix performance forums have posted pictures of their engines and at least one includes an engine with one of these valve covers installed.
I got one of those $20 Ebay valve covers and it works fine. Just be sure to wax it liberally prior to install because the chrome isn't exactly bumper chrome if you know what I mean...
I did have to knock out some of the baffles inside the cover to clear my rocker arms though.
I've seen those chromies and it didn't look like they had anywhere to mount the solenoids that are mounted to the 87-96 valve covers. If they do someone please correct me.
