Yes, a swap meet area. Like all meets, some good deals, some stuff will leave you shaking your head. Tons of new parts vendors. Some will have significant sales so brinbg too much money. You find a heavy item for $75 off, and save $75 on shippoing. We call that $150 off where I come from.

One of the best parts is meeting other forum members. Some lifelong friendships were made.

Thanks fenders for the info, I'm really excited and looking forward to seeing the Nationals for the first time and meeting some forum members, it sure will be nice to put some faces on the computer, now i got to locate a place to stay close to the events like walking distance would be nice.

54...
don't think you would want to stay at any place that is walking distance... the park is in a rather older section with little to offer for hospitality..

one exit up is where most of the hotels and restaurants are... jet jock is checking some prices but most are in the 50-70 a nite range and I'm sure there are some guys you could hitch a ride with to the park...

swap meet last year (first year at this site) was a little sparce but I think this year will be better in all respects... Pat and Jan will have done their homework and made the necessary changes/additions for a even better show... there is lots of room, nice lake and a good indoor exhibition hall..

some of the new equipt vendors always put on demos and have good show specials.. it's a good opportunity to tech talk to the guys and hold stuff in your hand

look forward to meeting you there... and really ??? bring lots of money

later
john

Hmmmm - bring lots of money??? Maybe if I could save some on shipping ... let's see ... carry the twelve ... subtract sales tax ... trade in some 12V horns ... switch front ends ... no wait, that's Niolon ... get a discount for the oil leak ... and, ARGHHHH! I ain't got that much money - no parts for you, Earl.

Oh well, I enjoy the company and conversation enough to make the trip worth it without bringing home more parts.
