The EBP is, indeed, listed on the Y-Block site above as the 223 I-6. The 6015 is Ford's part number for an engine block - ANY engine block. The D means it is a D revision and 223 components that have a D or later revision number should work with the block. At least that's one interpretation I've seen on a web site.
The odd thing is that my 56 shop manual shows the 223 as an EBR engine prefix series engine. Guess the block casting numbers and engine prefix numbers don't necessarily match.
