Do you remember the German Guy ... ?

... I hope some remember ! I have not been here for a while. After I made some good progress in 2003 I had a very slow 2004. At least regarding my 54 F100 project. Reason was that I had to put the 289 I had in the F100 into our 67 Mustang. That left my truck without an engine for all 2004 and a few more month into 2005. I am building a brand new 306 (0,030 over 302) with AFR aluminium heads for the Mustang and will then get the 289 back for the truck. It will, however, only stay in the truck for a while as I have another SBF in the pipeline. It will be a 347 stroker also sporting AFR heads. I have the block and I have the stroker kit here and the heads are on their way. I'll be back full time at FTE as soon as this project kicks off. I promise.

... for those who do not know the Orange Autobahn Monster:

... and here's a first look at the 306. The 347 will look very similar:

My web site was not updated for a while (and for a reason). However, there are some more pix of the F100.

Very good to see you again, my friend! First, George makes a comeback and now Kai. It is just like old times. Who could forget the Green Autobahn Monster? Like your engine choices... will be interesting to see what comes of all of it.

Good to have you back. himmelberg~skymountain

Hey Hey, Kai!!! Glad to hear from you!

No worries on the delay in your project - some of us haven't made much progress lately either.

Looks like you've got a great engine to stick in the Autobahn Monster! You'll need that high-visibility International Orange paint job for sure when you are out there passing the Mercedes and BMWs at 260 kph (160 MPH).

Holding you to that Kai. We missed you. Place just isn't the same without a little flat orange paint.

It's great to hear from you. I had been wondering how you were doing.

Neat engine you're building. The budget must have improved.

Cool , ... you are all still there and still love me.

Yes, ... that engine is going to be bad. I will test it in the truck before it goes into the Stang. It is just so much easier to install engines in EFIs. I am sure I will be breaking the tranny pretty quickly. I better start saving some money for that. Next will be the rear end. Oh boy.

The truck will be on the street this summer. I promise. This January is when I have it for 20 long years. Wow, ... time sure flies !

Good to hear from you again, but I have to ask........

What's the story with the VIVA MEXICO!!! on the push bar/bumper?

AND.....did you flip the picture or write it backward so it can be seen in someone's rearview mirror? Planning on tailgating other drivers? You'd better use a 460 if that's the goal.........

Hear that Niolon? 347 inches of screamin stroker 302 with lawt iron heads even. You're gonna have to flip your 460 air cleaner lid upside down or something to be faster than ol Kai now. Us smallblock boys aren't just going to sit still while you slap us around the internet.

Kai

That's a sweet engine you're planning. Blue Oval Rage had been involved in building a few of them. He told me they will come apart violently if they aren't assembled just right, with a good stroker kit. I'm sure you know that already as you always do your homework before you spend your hard earned Pesos.
