My Chilton Manual shows a P1443 code as a "Evaporative Purge Flow Sensor Fault". I would investigate all connections to the Fuel Vapor Canister, and electrical connections to the CANP (Canister Purge) Solenoid. Also check your fuel tank filler cap, fuel vapor hoses and fuel tank filler pipe. Of course check the Solenoid itself.
