I was told that the 352 is hard to find.If so what is it worth and who would want it? If anybody knows anything about it let me know because I want to buy a truck and it has one in it.thanks
No, 352 is a common engine....first put in trucks in 65....couple it with a NP435 tranny and you can drag anything out of nearly anywhere....67 was last yr of 352 as it grew to 360 which were truck only engines. My guess is a 352 in a 67 is an early truck....itsa good setup.....a million thumbs up
i had sunk a valve and i went to the local auto parts store and bought a 352 block they also have a place in california that rebuilds them. i heard the 352,360,& 390 are the same blocks just internal parts are different. is that correct?
Gil, They are the same block with different bores. I would not buy a 352 from a place like that, but a 390 instead. The 40 more cubes is well worth it, and shouldn't be much difference in price.
Rebuild shops are getting scarce, but any shop that has been around for a while should build one for you.
