One of the guys i work with just got a 2005 F-450 on thursday.
We were looking around and there is no wait to start light.
Is this something new? Should he still give the glow plugs a sec before he fires it up?
On the earlier models it shows up as a curly que (sp) looking design, left hand side.
I think you mean later models? They were still spelling the word out until '02 or '03. (Oh, I see, maybe you mean with the redesigned '05 dash you don't know where they stuck it. Neither do I!)
It's possible he bought a V-10, and didn't realize it. Sorry, thats sounds stupid, then again, anything is possible

That was pretty funny though. I asked someone to pull up the other day to give me a jump and I assumed it was a 6.0 before they started it up. Then we had to figure out which side of the truck the battery was on because it was a gasser.
