idle probs

my 84 351w idles good when cold at a stoplight but when warmed up a little it sputters and comes close to dieing. its around 30*F here in the morning.

idle probs

Make sure the choke isn't staying closed. Next time it does it, pull into a parking lot, pull the air filter cover, & look down the carb. If the choke plate is even partially closed (the one at the top of the carb), then you need to adjust it &/or tune-up/rebuild/replace the carb.

the choke works, i had it idleing in my driveway for 5-7 minutes b4 it opened fully.
