Adding tailgate trim
So my 79 F150 Custom has the raised FORD letters on the tailgate. I would like to add the metal trim piece that has the letters in it. Can I mount that on my existing tailgate, or will it not sit flush?

It will sit flush. It is held on by six or eight screws that come in from the inside of the tailgate. Just need to drill the holes in the proper location.

THe tailgate should have little dimples in it for drilling the holes properly.
