Ebay

Is it just me or does it seem like Ebay is slow ? It is the only site I have been on lately that takes a while for the pages to load

I have read in several places that the net is under fairly heavy attack from various sources. This site has had some difficulties also. I can only imagine what a site like eBay faces every day.

i also have been seeing that on several sites, military.com. news papers ect. is it time to up the firewall setting?

I have noticed slow loading at several pages- yahoo-msn- google news- and ebay- the only correlations I have been able to draw are (time of day when accessed= # of users trying to get on and as mentioned above attacks from outside sources. Be sure to run some type of spyware deterrent along with virus protection. I use spyware blaster it's free and works great with windows XP. my little pc's not really supposed to be fast enough to run xp but it does just fine for most applications jd

I do find it a little slower than other sights but not by much. Not to get off the subject but what I do find with Ebay is that everything is getting outrageous. People are paying ridiculous prices for junk and at one time to me it seemed a lot easier to get a good deal on Ebay but back to your question yes I find it a little slower and not worth the wait.

I still find them but overall Ebay is a great place to get the best money for your junk.

It doesn't matter how slow the internet is, I can always find something that I want to bid on when I am on ebay. My best advise is to don't get started....

Member since 99. Still have 2 accounts current. Got tired of the slow loads even on DSL or Cable so i did some research.

My advice? Quit using IE. DL mozilla firefox and tweak it. Very simple to do. I have no issues with any site anymore. Including FTE. Pages drop super quick. Love it!

Can't say enough good things about EBAY. Only place I can find "stuff" that I really have to have. Excellent place to get rid of Stuff I thought I had to have years ago.

it is the only place that i can find some cool face gauges but they are like $85. even the simple white ones are $65 and i found some for $40 from an online dealer. why are these gauge faces so high or is it just me?
