Am replacing the I6 with another in '86 F150 4x4. Cannot get to the bellhousing bolts easily so thought that I would just go ahead and pull engine and trans (AT) together (would give me chance to clean trans and have it checked before bolting new engine up). Would need to drop off transfer case first. Just wondering if there is any trick to removing/reinstallation of transfer case - other than removing the six bolts that hold it to the trans??
