Lightbulb cheap performance

A buddy of mine just completed an EFI 302 H.O.swap in what used to be a 98 V6 mustang.
He has most of the bolt on's to include:
K&N CAI, a/c eliminator, smog pump eliminator, bassani offroad x-pipe and cat back exhaust, rear seat delete. What else can he do for performance and sound without changing exhaust parts and keeping it naturally aspirated
between $100 and $1100? Any ideas?

gearing is the cheapest quick fix, change the rearend from 3.55 to 4.10 and you'llnotice the difference.

Well

You can always change out the heads and cam. Make it breath better.

I'd have to say gears to. Although the heads and cam is also a good start it's a little more expen$ive.

Just my
