what new model seat in 57-60 panel?

Looking for a late model split bench seat for my '59 panel. Prefer a split bench with a sliding passenger seat, so that I can get into the back of the truck without climbing over the seat or opening the rear doors. I tried a 2nd row seat from a Suburban/Tahoe, but the frame overhangs the inside step area.

Anyone have any experience with another seat?

i have recaro buckets in my panel. it is the best set up i have ever had. i have had many panels and this is the best set up. i have had bench seats with flip backs. but no support. i am very pleased. they were a nice used set. i made up brackets to match the stock bolt holes. may not be period correct but my back loves them

I'm not willing to use bucket seats. I used them in the past, and would now prefer to use a bench, preferably with a fold-down center arm rest and forward-sliding passenger seat for rear access. Thanks for your input.

I had a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 with extended cab that had a very comfortable set of front seats. They were bucket/bench type seat with a center fold down storage box/arm rest in the middle that you could pull up to make a center seat. The passenger seat was independant from the driver's so you could push it forward to get access to the back seat. I don't know if you would have the overhang problem with these seat but you could easily find one to get a measurement.

BTW, do you still have the stock seats? If you do can you post a picture? I would like to know if they are the same that was used in the '48-52 panels.
