Finally the weather was good enough for me to finish the headliner. Check out my gallery (hopefully I did it right) to see the finished product. I had enough fabric to do both headliners and the door trim. Hope y'all like it.

I use the same 77 adhesive...works dam good. But I used something called cotton batting for underneath the fabric..it's about 1/8 thick but soft...keeps the sound level down in the truck, and makes it feel a little more warm and cozy. They sell it for use underneath baby crib blankets or something. Anyone know where I can get a replacement foam back for a headliner, 80-86?

Don't flame me to much here but I replaced the headliner on my gmc, and I tried something new (to me at least). I used a hard foam cut into a flame pattern between the foam backer and the board. When I was done it gave me a raised flame pattern in the roof. It looked real trick in the smoke gray fabric until the glue I used failed me. The good side is that now that it has completely let go, I can transfer the 'flames' to the liner in my bronco. It should look just as good bebeath the navy blue headliner.
