Wal-Mart Super Tech 2-Cycle Oil

Anyone using Wal-Mart Super Tech 2-Cycle Oil in there Outboard engine?

It meets the TCW-3 spec that my engine manufacture says to use in my manual.

Last two Gal I used the Mercury Quicksilver Premium (only cause it was FREE) but I'M not going to spend $18+/gal for it.

Dont use it. I know for a fact that it doesnt keep an outboard from rusting internally when they sit up for a month or so. We use to sell premium plus for 12.95 a gallon. We bought it in 55 gallon drums and put it in our own gallon jugs. You can run the pennzoil stuff, syn blend or full are both excellent oils. Walmart sells the blend 9.95 a gallon.

I have used quite a bit in my snowmobiles this past winter. It seems to work fine there. As to the rust claim, I have had no problems.

I used to use that stuff in my dirtbike cause it was cheap. The bike fouled plugs like mad and smoked up a storm. I switched to quicksilver and it ran a lot bettter, and didn't foul plus nearly as much.
I currently run KLOTZ supertechniplate in my quad, and eventhough it costs $9.00 a quart, it is excellent.
