Radio, "MD" input?
this really isnt car audio or thats the forum were i would put it. on the back of one of my el cheapo home all in one radios it has and input for md. what does this mean? i tried puting a regular tv input into it and got sound but with lots of hum. thanks in advance. chrono

Many TV's are "hot chassis" sets with the chassis connected to neutral. Hot chassis equipment can introduce a large amount of hum.

well im not sure if a computer is the same way but i tried it and i got the same thing. mini disk as in what, furball? im not sure i know what your talking about

Question, Is it one jack or more? Is it for rca cables, a square hole, or headphone jack? Is your all in one stereo surround sound? (i.e. 5 or more speakers) Thanks, Dave

its regular rca jacks and yes its capable of 5.1 surround

Yes, basically just like a walkman or discman; headphone jack split to a 'y' RCA L and R.

The technology is primarily digital so they'll usually have some sort of digital or optical output. I'm sure any set-top unit will also have the analog RCA's though and it should work through a headphone Y cord for portables.
