Ranger Lance, the Secret Audio I was asking about is a totally hidden system. The main unit can be hidden behind the seat or trunk or anyplace where space permits. The control unit is no bigger than a credit card. It can be hidden behind sun visors, a flip down panel under dash, or anyplace you desire. The best feature that got my attention was the remote control unit. You can change the station or loudness up to 40 feet away from the vehicle. And the remote control doesn't have to be aimed at the unit it operate. A great feature for car shows, where we like to sit behind the truck and normally you would have to stand up and aim the controller through the back window to operate it.
Thanks for the clarification; I wasn't trying to be a smart a** , I really thought maybe you were referring to Sirius. This sounds really interesting though; do you have any sort of link to system descriptions, etc.?
No I don't have a link for them, I have seen them in the Classic Truck Magazine ads. And I believe Mac's Antique Auto, or LMC has them in there catalog. They run a reasonable $275.00, I'm getting close to where I will be able to get my 51 back on the street. And at this point I'm starting to think about a stereo system. I really like the features of the Secret Audio and unless I hear some negative feed back I will be getting one. I would like to mount the small control unit in the overhead panel, above the windshield possibly behind the sun visor. I have removed the speaker grill and filled in the dash. The only thing I want to install there now is the Vintage Air control panel.
Happy New Year
