JL stealthbox in Excursion question

I was looking into picking up one of the stealthbox setup for my Excursion and noticed on JL web page that if I have rear cup holders with audio controls it will not fit. Have any of you here had any issues installing this unit with the rear cup holder console?

Yes it fit without any issues. I don't know why JL has that info on their website.
