With a switch to an entire Ford or other fine brand powertrain, you are actually undertaking a vehicle fabrication project, not an engine swap. I doubt the subframe attachment points match or are even close. Your best advice is the GTP motor or the chev V8, both of which retain your transaxle and rear suspension etc. Maybe the Northstar if it bolts up.
Are you a good welder? Do you have a way to make up jigs to make sure stuff is straight? Understand suspension geometry?
