Hello first time newbie with lots of questions. I replaced all five instrument panels bulbs. (behind the speedometer, tach, fuel, oil, etc. well the problem is that it is still pretty dim. (dangerous when im out at night and cant see my speed) someone told me it could be the riosode switch (i know i spelled that wrong) does anyone know anything about this or replaced this part. any help would be appreciated or soon i will be driving with a flashlight shining on my dash lol
I will be posting alot today seeing that i just got my truck and its my first so im curious about fixing it up. thank you
When you pull the switch out for ur headlights, if you turn it the lights get brighter and darker, i dont know if you already have it turned all the way

What they are talking about is the rheostat which is incorporated into you light switch. It may be bad. I try to always check the simple things first myself before buying something. It may just be a ground. If not, then the switch itself isn't too awfully expensive.
I had the same problem with my 85 F-350. After many attempts this is what I did. Get LED bulbs (available at most Auto stores). I replaced the Voltage box (IVR) on the back of the instument panel and the final assistance was to knock the colored bulb lenses off the inside of the panel. Remove the bulbs, place dowel in the hole and give it a quick careful rap. Then shake the covers out of the way in the instrument panel. My lights are no longer blue, but that bright white LED is great. Gives me more time to actully look at the road.
