Help;
Back in July we bought a new Craftsman tractor and snowplow blade. Brought it home and checked the contenets. Blade had damaged control cable. Ordered new one, no problems. Fast forward to now. go to put this thing together and find I have lost the assembly instructions. I was wondering if anyone has any info, assembly or otherwise on a craftsman 48" snowplow/dozer blade, model 24412. Sears wants $7.50 plus shipping and after what we paid for all this, I can't see that. I appreciate any help thats out there. Thanks...Shawn
Go to Sears.com and look up your plow in the parts section. It should show most everthing.
I tried that but no matter what I put in for a model number including the number right off the blade it doesn't recognize it. If I put in the part number for the cable they send me, it sees that but won't pull up the picture.
I punch in 24412
into the "Part #" and get the below.
COIL Lawn and Garden
COIL Hardware and Tools
PULLEY Hardware and Tools
STITCH REGULATOR CAM Sewing Machine/Floor Care
HANDLE PAK Plumbing and Heating
I think all Sears stuff, tractors, mowers and accessories have a 3 digit number with a dot, then the assembly number, such as XXX.XXXX.... That's the number you need, I would think, to search their system.
Yup, tried that too. The model number on the blade itself is 486.24412000. Put that in and still got nothing. sears parts website is not all it's supposed to be. Once I ordered a table top for an old craftsman table saw. They showed it for $8.50 so I ordered 2. I got a capacitor. You figure it out. Anyway thats why I turned to this site for help.
