2004 Explorer shifting issues
Well earlier in Dec. there was a thread about the shifting issues of the Explorers and possible recalls.
I took mine back to dealer and to their credit talked to their engineers and was told to replace the valve body.
They did and it now shifts very well. No hard clunks, thumps or bangs just a smooth transition. Still a odd shift from 2-3rd but will not get **** about it.
If wife is happy it's good enough for me!
