Question

Tranny delima

I have a 79 f150 ranger that someone converted from a standerd to an automatic and it is slipping. I think the tranny is a c4. I have been trying to identafy it to determon if a tranny that a freand has will work. My trany is bolted to a 300 six and the other one is bolted up to a 351m. They both have a removible bellhousing. My question is can I swap bellhousings.

If there both c-4's, yes.
