Maybe I should rephrase the question
Is there relay or something obvious I can look
for to see if this is a factory installed option?
Guess I could take it to the dealer but what's the fun in that!!!??

Try cycling the key 8 times in 10 seconds, if the locks cycle, I believe you have a remote system. This puts it into the programming mode.

It worked! Cycled the key and sure enough... POP!
