Bombard them 1 more time. If you give up they win. Ford doesn't want buyers of its best SUV going elsewhere.

Schumann,

I understand what you are saying, but I have been fighting with them since day one of the truck last May. I guess my response you is that if "Ford doesn't want buyers of its best SUV going elsewhere", then maybe the should have built the best SUV which in the case of my truck, they didnt' even get close.

Anyway, I got a bad one, the next guy will get a great one. It's almost become funny. Usually I get kissed when I get screwed.....

Exclamation

Obviously it appears Ford continues using those cheap, trashy Continental tires(if that is what was on the vehicle) and also haven't addressed the steering suspension and stablizing problems. one thing you should consider is taking it to service, have it documented at least 3 times before calling Ford. chances are that the service dept. WILL NOT have a quick fix.

keep us posted....

Eric Mowrer

I have a new 05 with 1200 miles on it. The front end and steering wheel vibrate between 70 and 80 so bad that my hand gets numb and my watch rattles. I took it in to the dealer and they said it had a hard spot in the tire. The tires are currently on back order....hmmm....I wonder why?? Maybe because they are replacing a lot of them!!!
