I have a problem with my park brake pedal, it just doesnt want to come back up when released. Is there a spring inside the bracket?? Has anyone else had this problem. If it does need a spring, is it replaceable? does the whole bracket need to be replaced Thanks.

 

the park brake return spring is on the frame at the equalizer, at least on my 83 f100. i think yours should be the same. make sure you lube the cables good so they work smooth and dont bind. i replaced my rear park brake cables after i bought my truck(they were missing). i think i got mine from auto zone they werent terribly expensive.
