broken bracket need advice.

hey guys. was under my truck today replacing a license plate light socket. looked over and saw that there was a bracket that looks kind of important broken. if you look behind your rear rotors you can see a little ring (bracket) where the e-brake cable hooks in. well that is broken on mine and it looks like the only way to replace it is to replace the whole back hub. explains why my parking brake doesn't work any more. just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and if there is a way to fix it that doesn't involve hours of work and lots of money. if pictures are needed let me know its too dark now but I can take one in the morning.

I have a 2003 F-350 5.4L and I also noticed the left park brake cable bracket was broken. I have been researching and looking into a fix. You have to take the rotor, hub, and park brake shoes. The backing plate and another plate (the one that the bracket is attached to) are bolted together. Not sure if you can get them seperate or not but you have to replace that one plate for sure. It doesn't weld on very well either.
