92 F-150 chime module

The chime module continues to sound even when driving. I located the chime module and am wondering if you can just unplug the harness or is the something else that is attached to this harness. There are about seven wires coming out of it and I am not sure what they are all for. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

Took mine off immediately back in 92. Put over 230,000 miles on the truck without a problem.

If it's warning you about a door being open or something, you may want to wd-40 the latch mechanism to loosen up the switches. That may stop it.
