got the predator for xmas and ran right out in the driveway to install. I installed the preset diablo tune, no problems. the only other thing i wanted to modify was my idle, and my tire revolutions(i have 33" tires). When i went to "modify tune" and i altered the idle and tire revs, it asks me if i want to install, and i clicked YES. Does that keep the diablo tune and just modify those 2 parameters, or am i back to stock tune with just the 2 new parameters changed??
From what I understand, any changes you make are inaddition to any changes that the Diablo tune has over stock. So in lay-mans you are modifying the Diablo tune and not the stock one, I.E. you have the diablo tune, but it is re-written with the diablo tune + changes made.
Ken in the Tuners forum could explain it better, as I'm sure I've butchered it.
no, you make total sense, and thats what i thought i was doing. last night i actually found an option called "last tune installed" which shows you what tune you have in, and it says "diablo tune", and then has an asterisk next to the parameters that I changed, to show me that I have modified them within the diablo tune. The predator is a quite a cool little tool, i recommend it.
I sure like my Predator, but lately I've been getting some pretty poor mpgs, like 10-11 mpg.
I'm thinking that I have the spark advance too high, considering the single digit temps, and winter blend fuel. Right now I have it at a 3 deg advance on 93 octane.
I'm going to try and back it off to the diablo tune level and see if that helps out.

did you make any large changes to the diablo parameters after you did your headers? I saw your pics and i ordered the Gibson SS headers. Im going to install as soon as its warm out, im not trying it in this 15 degree weather we have lately...
