This seems to be an excellent source of info for my Explorer and F-150. I was wondering if there are any such forums for Ford cars. I have a Mercury Sable I wish I could troubleshoot via a forum such as this.
One question I need answered is, does the TPS have any sort of adjustment to it? I took it off to see if it needed cleaning (I was cleaning the idle air valve anyway) and it seems I did something to screw up the idle speed. I went from low idle to fast idle (2000rpm). I tried disconnecting the battery overnight but that didn't help.
I thought I might have put the TPS back on wrong and got it out of adjustment.
Thanks
Jim
We have such a site, but the boards have been turned off temporarily pending a major upgrade. You are welcome to use the general conversation section here for such questions (so long as Ford truck/suv talk is kept to the specific truck/suv sections here).
