Are there any Ford Car Forums?
My Mom and Dad have a 2001 Ford Taurus SES
And it is showing the Check Engine Light, could any one help me with this... I need to know how to read the codes on this particular car. Do I have to purchase a code reader, or how does this work?

You can check out the areas here and post a question on any problem or need information on any FORD. It doesn't matter, I assure you. There are many of us here who don't just own FORD trucks. Hey Pagemaker, and welcome to FTE.
I to own a 2001 ford Taurus. I had a site on my computer for that car, but lost it when my computer got sick. As for your car problem you can have Autozone or another parts store check the codes for free for you. I just had my car at the dealership to have the DPF SENSOR replaced. It was under the emissions warennty. Let us know, how it goes.

Check out www.flatratetech.com mostly Ford service techs. that hang out there. They have helped me on a couple of occasions.
